2009 Christmas "Adopt a Family"
This year for Christmas Valuable Blessings' goal
is to adopt as many families as possible and supply baskets to them that consist of Gift Cards (toys for children) Gift Cards
(for food) and winter items such as hats, gloves, scarves etc.
With the economy being the way that it is we are
in great need of lending a hand to one another. We had the great pleasure of being joined by Prince George's County Executive Jack Johnson during our Thanksgiving event which allowed the families that came out to eat to know
that the community and the higher ups do care. I had so many people come to me in awe that he took time out of his schedule
to come out and support such a great cause. I can never thank him enough.
If you all can find it in your hearts
to assist us with this mission we would greatly appreciate it and I am sure the families would as well. We are asking
for ANYTHING. $1 can go a long way. We are trying to collect as much as we can so that we can touch as many families as we
can to put a smile on their faces during this difficult holiday season. Remember we are accepting new and slightly used
toys, video games, and clothing.
We decided on Gift Cards this year to make the parents feel a little better about
the situations that they are in, nothing is like losing a job and having things fall down around you but feeling like you
can't provide for your family is the worse so this way they can at least go and shop for their own children if they have the
gift cards to make things a little easier.
The deadline for all donations is December 20, 2009 but if you
can get it to us sooner that would be great so that we can ensure that we are able to get things to the families in time for

PERSONAL FINANCE WORKSHOP! Valuable
Blessings, Inc. is offering 2 personal finance workshop on the following date:

If you
are interested in your child participating or know someone that would be interested please let me know so that you can
feel out the required forms. Our children do not know half of what they should know about finances, let's try to prevent
them from making the money mistakes that some of us made coming up.
These workshops will be set up to touch topics
that children as young as 5 and as old as adulthood can understand and learn from. If we feel that the children need
more workshops than the two that are being offered we will look into that as an option.

to Atlantic City
Le' Pearl Ballroom has partnered with
a local non-profit organization in Prince George's County , " Valuable Blessings" to take 150 seniors on an
all expense paid trip to Atlantic City Bally's Hotel. The seniors will enjoy the outing, the beautiful boardwalk, beach,
shopping or even their chances at the great casinos. All part of Valuable Blessings & Le' Pearl Ballroom's community
sponsorship & outreach program. All seniors in Prince George 's County are welcome while seats last. " Support

youth on an all expense paid, fun filled day at Kings Dominion Amusement Park. The youth
shall be motivated to face life challenges through self-empowerment while achieving greatness and its rewards! All youth of
